Getting a Refund

As you will have found out if you have looked at any number of Forex robot sales pages, is that they all offer a 60 day money back guarantee.

If they don’t then steer clear. If they do, just make sure that if you do click on the “BUY NOW” button, you see the name “Clickbank” on the order page somewhere.

ClickBank is a sales intermediary. People with something (usually a non-physical product, such as an e-book, a report, or software) to sell (vendors) post links to their sales pages in ClickBank’s Marketplace. People who want to promote something (affiliates) can select any of the Marketplace products that suit them and sell them on, earning a commission from the seller.

ClickBank keeps track of sales, commission and returns, and grades products accordingly. ClickBank has been around for many, many years, and has a excellent reputation. This is in no small way down to the fact that it will accept refunds up to 60 days after the purchase. So, buyers – that’s you and me – can effectively try-before-you-buy (well, except that you are out of pocket for 60 days).

What I am telling you is that the 60-day Guarantee is genuine.

NOTE: Please be aware that the guarntee only covers the
cost of the Forex robot and does NOT cover any losses you
may have made while using the robot.

However, the refund procedure is not straighforward. In the past you simply emailed ClickBank (although finding the correct address was a challenge) with your transaction id and asked for your money back. As there is no physical product you don’t even have to return anything.

Recently they have revised their refunds procedure, although there are no guidelines on their website – I discovered this by accident.

In your ClickBank receipt email you will see a section titled CUSTOMER SERVICE (you will have to scroll down a bit to see it). Below this title there is the following:

If you need additional customer service ClickBank
will be happy to assist you. To make a customer
service inquiry with regard to this purchase, please visit:

Clicking on the link will take you to the Support Ticket page at ClickBank and will have the details of your order already filled in. See below:

Click on “More options…”

Click on the “Refund Request” button and in the “Additional Comments”  box detail how long you have been testing it and how much you have lost, or whatever your reason is for requesting a refund. Just make sure that you do this before the 60 days (60 actual days, not 60 working days) period is up. What I do is put a reminder on my calendar a week before the end of the 60 days, which gives me 7 days to get my act together and allows for any unforeseeable eventualities such as not being able to get at a computer for a few days.

The vendor now has the opportunity to respond. When he does so, the response comes through the Support Ticket facility and will contain a link back to the ticket, where there will now be an option to request a refund. Select this option and your refund will be completed.

One point to note is that, if the vendor does not respond and you don’t follow up, ClickBank will close the ticket due to inactivity. So, give it a week (calendar, reminder) and follow up.

So, even if you check out a Forex robot following my “20 Second Check” and, despite not finding any real proof still go ahead and buy it, you can be assured that if it doesn’t work as predicted in the next 60 days, you will, at the very least, get the cost of the robot back.
