About Me

Hi, my name is Richard Charrington, I’m 61 years old at the time of creating this website and I live in London, England.

Now, I haven’t got a “rags-to-riches” story to tell as I was never in rags, and am not rich. My life has been pretty unremarkable, although I got married too early and had two kids by the age of 21. I have had a very varied career which started off selling door-to-door, followed by 2 years as a laboratory assistant, 9 years in the Royal Air Force as an Armament Technician, 20 odd years in IT (from IT Support to Systems Administrator) and 7 years as a Bathroom Fitter.

Around 6 years ago I started looking for some way of making money working from home. I tried my hand at Internet Marketing, but never really got to grips with it. I then discovered Forex Trading, or rather, I came across an advert for a Forex Robot that would “consistently make money, allowing me to live anywhere in the world and retire tomorrow” – or some such rubbish. I have now been trading Forex for about three years, and in that time I have tried a HUGE number of Forex robots, or Expert Advisors to give them their proper name.

Needless to say, most of the Forex robots I tried did not work or lost money, and eventually I paid for expert tuition so that I could trade manually. I am down a few K overall, but am slowly clawing my way back up. Don’t get me wrong, I have had some very large wins, but they have mostly been on demo accounts (it’s so much easier to take big risks with demo money!).

I got so hacked off with being scammed, lied to and generally mislead by these “gurus” who had the latest, most innovative Forex robots that “have never lost a trade in 3 years” or “made 30,000% profit in 2 days” or whatever the current claim is, that I decided to look more closely at those claims. Eventually I discovered that they were ALL full of BS. Only one Forex robot that I ever came across had the bottle to present REAL LIVE PROOF. All the rest was just smoke-and-mirrors and blatant lies, with a lot of blurb which is designed to appeal to peoples’ GREED and to calm their FEARS. These are the two emotional forces that a trader has to come to terms with in order to trade effectively, and those copywriters know it!

So, I eventually knew what to look for and was able to be more selective when looking at Forex robots, but it still bugged me that  they (the robot seller) were still getting away with it. I was but a single voice shouting into a hurricane. So, I decided to put all I had found into a website whch will, hopefully, get seen by more and more people looking for the Holy Grail of a Forex robot that works. But, not only am I hoping to enlighten people so that they know what to look for, I am also testing out some of the ones that look like they might work, even though the seller hasn’t actually provided any LIVE PROOF. After all, there just might be one out there who has got a robot that works, but doesn’t actually know how to provide proper proof. Hopefully they will come across this website and see how to do it.
